What We Move

One crew, from the first box to the last.

Every service below is delivered by our own staff. We do not subcontract a move once it is booked.

  • Residential Moving

Studios to five-bedroom houses, surveyed first and quoted flat.

  • Commercial Moving

Offices, clinics and retail, moved after hours so you open on time.

  • Packing & Unpacking

Full or partial, with dish packs, wardrobe cartons and custom crating.

  • Storage Solutions

Climate-controlled and inventoried, for a weekend or a season.

  • Long Distance

Dedicated trucks with one crew from door to door, no depot handover.

  • Furniture Assembly

Broken down at origin and rebuilt where you want it at destination.

Why Us

Most of what goes wrong on moving day is decided weeks earlier.

So that is where we do the work — the survey, the plan and the crew are settled long before the truck arrives.

The crew that surveys is the crew that moves

No handover to a subcontractor on the morning. The people who walked your home and counted the boxes are the ones who carry them.

  • A flat quote that holds

We price from a survey, not from a phone call, so there is no revised figure waiting for you when the truck is already loaded.

  • Protection as standard

Floor runners, door jamb padding, blanket wrap and stretch film on every job. It is not an upsell line on the estimate.

  • Insured properly

Cargo and general liability current and verifiable. Ask for the certificate and you will have it the same day.

  • Real scheduling

Arrival windows of two hours, not all day, and a coordinator who answers the phone while the move is running.

How It Runs

Four steps, and you only have to be present for one of them.

From the first call to the last box out of the hallway, this is the whole process.

  1. Step One

    Survey

We walk the home, in person or over video, and count what is actually moving. Twenty minutes, no obligation.

  2. Step Two

    Written plan

A flat quote, the crew size, the truck size and an arrival window, in writing, before you commit to anything.

  3. Step Three

    Pack & protect

Runners down, jambs padded, furniture blanket-wrapped and film-sealed. Boxes labeled to the room they land in.

In Detail

What each of these actually involves.

The long version, because the difference between movers is in the detail rather than the headline.

Emptied bedroom part way through a move, blanket-wrapped bed frame against the wall and cartons stacked in an even tier

Residential Moving

A house move is mostly logistics and a little bit of carrying. We survey first so the truck that turns up is the right size and the crew is the right number, then we protect the route in and out before a single item is lifted. Beds come apart, wardrobes go into hanging cartons, and everything lands in the room it belongs in rather than in a pile by the door.

  • Free in-home or video survey
  • Blanket wrap on all furniture
  • Bed and wardrobe disassembly
  • Room-by-room placement

Commercial Moving

Offices are judged on downtime, so we work to your open-for-business hour and not to ours. We plan the sequence with your facilities contact, book the lifts, and move after close or over a weekend. Workstations are broken down, crated and re-sited to a floor plan, with cables bagged to the desk they came off so IT is not starting from nothing on Monday.

  • Out-of-hours scheduling
  • Lift booking and building liaison
  • Lidded crates and dollies supplied
  • Floor-plan based re-siting

Packing & Unpacking

Packing is where a move is won or lost, and it is the part people most underestimate. Our packers work room by room with proper materials — dish packs for crockery, wardrobe cartons for hanging clothes, custom crating for mirrors and art. Every carton is labeled to its destination room and its contents, so unpacking is a sequence rather than an excavation.

Storage Solutions

Closing dates rarely line up, and when they do not, the answer is a clean place to put everything for a week or a season. Our storage is climate-controlled and inventoried at intake, so you know what is in there without opening a single carton. Items go in wrapped as they came off the truck and come out the same way.

  • Itemised intake inventory
  • Short-term between closings
  • Direct redelivery

Coverage

Where we move, and how far we go.

Local rates apply across every area listed. Long distance is quoted per route, door to door, with one crew the whole way.

  • Pearl District
  • Sellwood
  • Laurelhurst
  • Alberta Arts
  • Hillsboro
  • Beaverton
  • Lake Oswego
  • Vancouver
  • Milwaukie
  • Tigard

Outside these? We still go — ask when you call.

Crew Sizes

The crew is sized to the home, not to a package.

The survey decides which of these your move needs. We would rather send one mover too many than run into the evening.

What Movers Say

Portland families and businesses, after the truck pulled away.

★★★★★

"They surveyed our Laurelhurst house on a Tuesday and moved us the following Saturday. The quote did not move a dollar, the crew was the same three people both at the survey and on the day, and our bed was rebuilt before they left."

Anna & Wes P.

★★★★★

"Third-floor walk-up in the Pearl with a stairwell you can barely turn a sofa in. They padded every jamb, took the door off its hinges without being asked, and nothing was marked. Genuinely impressive."

Devon M.

★★★★★

"We had a four-week gap between closings. They stored everything, sent me the intake inventory as a PDF, and redelivered on the morning we got keys. Not one carton went missing."

Ruth K.

Questions

If yours is not here, a coordinator will answer it on the phone in a couple of minutes.

Ask us directly

The things people ask us before they book.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to three weeks is comfortable for a local move and four to six for a long distance one. Month ends and the last weekend of summer go first, so if your date is fixed it is worth calling as soon as you have it.

Is the quote you give me the price I pay?

Yes. We survey the home first, in person or over video, and the written estimate that follows is the number on the invoice. The only thing that changes it is you adding items after the survey, and we will tell you what that costs before we load them.

What is not included?

We do not move hazardous goods, live plants across state lines, or anything perishable. Everything else, including the awkward items, is quoted. Ask about pianos, safes and large aquariums up front so we can bring the right equipment.

Are my belongings insured?

Every move carries released-value protection at no cost, and full-value protection is available. We will walk you through what each actually covers rather than handing you a form, because the difference matters on the one day it is needed.

Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes, that is part of a standard move. Beds, table legs, wardrobes and flat-pack come apart at origin and go back together where you want them at destination, with the fixings bagged and labeled to the piece.

What happens if the closing date moves?

It happens more often than not. Tell us as early as you can and we will re-book, and if there is a gap between the two dates we can hold the load in storage rather than you paying for a second move.

Next Step

Tell us the date. We will take it from there.

A survey takes twenty minutes and the written estimate that follows is the price you pay.
