It answers in your business's name, asks what you'd ask, books visits straight into your calendar through Cal.com, and sends you the job written down. We set it up for you on the number you already have.
The phone rings at 9:47 PM. Luis is finishing a repipe across town, so the call goes to the receptionist.
It answers. It answers what it can and takes down the job, in the business's name.

A sample call with a made-up business. The receptionist's lines follow the rules the real one runs on.
The same five things every time, in the order a good receptionist would. Each line here is one it's told to say.
Every call opens in your business's name, or with a greeting you write, and always with the recording notice, so nobody is surprised by it later.
The receptionist says: Thanks for calling Rivera Plumbing. Calls are recorded so we get your details right. How can I help?
Your hours as you publish them, the towns you cover, your services, and up to 15 questions you've answered yourself. Anything else, it says you'll cover when you call back. It never guesses and never quotes a price.
The receptionist says: Luis will go over that when they call you back.
One question at a time, the way a person would. For a plumber: what is happening; whether water is leaking right now; when they need someone; for a water heater, whether it is gas or electric and roughly how old it is. Then a name, the best number to call back on (read back once), the address, and whether it's urgent.
The receptionist says: Sorry to hear that. Is it still leaking right now?
If it sounds urgent, it gets the number first, then marks the call urgent so it's the first thing you see. Urgent means things like a burst pipe or active leak, or sewage backing up, or no water at all, plus anything you add to the list.
The receptionist says: Thanks, Dan. I'm marking this as urgent for Luis. If you know where your main water valve is, you can shut it off. What's the address?
It asks if there's anything else, once, says goodbye and hangs up. When the call ends, the job is emailed to you and saved in your Lead Inbox with the recording.
The receptionist says: Thanks for calling Rivera Plumbing, have a good day.
Every real call becomes a lead, emailed to you and saved in your Lead Inbox. This is the email, with a sample call's details in it.

Every lead, the moment the call ends. Urgent ones say so in the subject.
Each lead with its recording and transcript, marked new, contacted, quoted, booked or lost as you work it.
If you have a Buildrok website, its inquiries land in the same inbox as your calls.
When a caller wants a visit, it offers your open times and books one into your calendar through Cal.com.

It never pretends to be a person. Every call starts by saying the call is recorded, and if a caller asks whether they're talking to a real person, it tells them straight away that it's an AI assistant taking details for you.
Yes, if you give it a number. When a caller asks for a person, it offers to put them through to you. Leave the number blank and it takes a message and tells them you'll call back.
Yes. Link your Cal.com account and it offers callers your open slots and books them straight into your calendar. It asks for the caller's email, because Cal.com needs one to make the booking.
Yes. You dial one code on your own phone so the calls you miss go to your receptionist, and another code turns it off. Your number never changes.
It tells them you'll cover it when you call back. It's told never to guess, never to quote a price and never to diagnose a problem.
Yes. You don't need a Buildrok website. If you do have one, it can read your services, hours and service area straight from it.
Not directly yet. Every call reaches you as an email and a lead in your Lead Inbox, with the caller's details, a summary and the recording, and you can export your leads as a CSV whenever you want them somewhere else.
Yes. Every call starts by telling the caller it's recorded, and you can play the recording and read the transcript from the lead. Rules about recording calls vary by state, and you're responsible for the ones that apply where you work.
Set up for you, on your number, and you hear it before it takes a real call.
