Refunds & Cancellation

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases made through Buildrok. If you have questions, contact us at /contact.

1. Monthly subscriptions

Buildrok offers monthly subscription plans (currently Single Page at $24/month and Multi Page at $49/month). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your site stays live until then. No partial-month refunds are issued for unused time after cancellation.

When we do refund subscription charges

  • Duplicate or erroneous charge: If you are charged in error or charged twice for the same period, contact us and we will investigate and refund as appropriate.
  • Charge after cancellation: If you were billed after a confirmed cancellation, contact us and we will refund the charge.

When we do not refund subscription charges

  • Partial months — you keep access until the billing period ends.
  • Forgetting to cancel before the next billing date.
  • Not using the service during the billing period.

2. Optional add-ons

Add-ons (Gallery, Map Embed, Custom Pages) are billed monthly alongside your subscription. The same cancellation and refund rules apply — add-ons can be disabled at any time and billing stops at the end of the current period. No partial-month refunds are issued.

3. Domain registrations

If you purchase a domain through Buildrok, the domain is registered through a third-party registrar. Domain registrations are non-refundable once the domain has been successfully registered.

When we do refund domain-related charges

  • Failed registration: If your payment succeeds but the domain cannot be registered, we will refund the payment automatically or as soon as we confirm the failure.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charge: If you are charged in error, we will investigate and refund as appropriate.

When we do not refund domain charges

  • Successful registration: Once a domain is registered, the fee is typically final — domain registrars do not allow reversals.
  • DNS propagation delays: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate globally. This is a normal part of how the internet works and is not a basis for a refund.
  • Configuration changed after setup: If DNS or third-party settings are changed after we've configured them, we'll help you fix it, but the domain registration is not refundable.

4. Domain setup issues

If your domain is registered successfully but your site isn't live yet due to DNS verification or configuration issues, we'll provide DNS instructions and tools to recheck status. If you're stuck, contact support at /contact and we'll help you resolve it.

5. How to request a refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under this policy, contact us at Contact with:

  • The email address on your Buildrok account
  • What you were charged for (plan, add-on, or domain)
  • The approximate charge date
  • The domain name (for domain-related requests)

We aim to respond to refund requests within one business day. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method (credit/debit card via Stripe) and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Buildrok does not issue refunds via cash, check, or alternative payment methods.
