Billing And Subscriptions
What your plan covers, how to update your card or cancel, and what happens if a subscription lapses.
Buildrok billing is built to be boring: one subscription per site, managed through a standard Stripe portal, with no surprise line items. Here's how the pieces fit together.
What The Subscription Covers
Your plan covers the lot: hosting, the security padlock, the quote form built for your trade, the Lead Inbox, and running your site on your own web address. Current plans (full details on the pricing page):
- Single Page: $29/month, or $23/month billed annually.
- Multi Page: $49/month, or $39/month billed annually. Adds separate Services and Contact pages, which gives Google more to match against.
- Extra Pages Pack: a flat $20/month add-on for up to 5 extra pages on a Multi Page plan.
Two things are deliberately outside the subscription:
- Publishing to buildrok.com/s/your-business is free. The subscription is what runs your site on your own web address with everything switched on. The free address works without one.
- Your own web address is a separate one-off cost. An address bought through Buildrok is a yearly cost, usually around $10 to $20, billed once and not part of any plan. Connecting one you already own costs nothing. See Connecting Your Domain.
Your Card, Invoices, And Plan
All of it lives behind one button:
- Open your Account page.
- Press the Billing tab.
- Find the site you want, then press Manage Billing & Invoices.
- That opens Stripe, the company that handles our payments. It's where you change your card, download any invoice, and cancel if you want to.
Buildrok never sees or stores your card details; payment runs entirely through Stripe.
Cancelling
Cancel from the same Stripe portal, any time, with no cancellation fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: your site stays fully live until then, and you simply aren't charged again.
What Happens If A Subscription Lapses
Whether you cancelled on purpose or a card payment failed, the same gentle rules apply:
- Your site stays on its free address. The buildrok.com/s version of your site keeps working.
- Your own web address shows a renew notice. Anyone typing your address sees a short notice that the site is waiting on renewal, until payment is sorted.
- Nothing is deleted. Your content, photos, and leads are preserved. Renew and the custom domain picks up right where it left off.
- Your address stays yours. Addresses bought through Buildrok are registered in your name. If you're leaving for good, contact support for the transfer code and move it wherever you like.
Refunds
Our refund policy is published at buildrok.com/refunds. If something has gone wrong with a charge, contact support and a human will look at it.

Is there a free plan?
You can build as many sites as you like and try every template free, with no card and no account needed to start. Publishing to your free buildrok.com/s address is also free. Paid plans add the quote form, the Lead Inbox, and your own web address.
When does cancellation take effect?
At the end of your current billing period. Your site stays fully live until then, and you won't be charged again.
Will I lose my site content if my subscription lapses?
No. Everything on your site is kept exactly as you published it. Your own web address shows a renew notice until payment is sorted, and it all comes straight back when you renew.
Is my custom domain part of the subscription?
Not on a Do It Yourself plan: addresses bought through Buildrok are a separate one-off yearly cost (usually around $10 to $20), and they are registered in your name. On Done For You the first year is included and the managed plan covers the renewal from year two. Either way the address is yours: if you cancel, contact support for your transfer code to move it to another company.
