Getting Started

Getting Started With Buildrok

Pick a template, preview it live without an account, fill in your business details, and publish your first site.

Buildrok is built so a working preview of your site exists before you type a single word. Here is the whole journey, start to finish.

Step 1: Pick A Template

Head to the template gallery. There are thirty designs covering ten trades: cleaning, mobile detailing, landscaping, HVAC, general contracting, food trucks, moving, barbering, electrical, and plumbing. Every template is a finished site for that trade, not a blank canvas, so the sections, lead form, and copy are already shaped around how your customers book work.

Click any template card to see a full demo of the design before you commit to anything.

Step 2: Start A Live Preview, No Account Needed

When you choose a template, Buildrok asks how you'd like to start:

  1. See It Live Instantly. Skips every form and drops you straight into a live preview of the template. Click any text to make it yours.
  2. Fill In Your Details First. A short form asks for your business name, services, phone, and service areas, then loads the preview with your real content already in place.

Either way, you don't need an account to try it, and there is nothing to pay. Most owners go from picking a template to a finished-looking website in under 20 minutes.

Step 3: Make It Yours

The preview is a real, editable website. Click any glowing headline, paragraph, or photo to change it right on the page. Everything saves automatically. The Editing Your Site guide covers the editor in full: section layouts, your brand colors and fonts, photos, and the sidebar panel.

One thing to know: drafts started without an account expire after 24 hours. Create a free account from the preview and your draft is kept for 14 days, so you can come back to it from any device.

Step 4: Publish

When the site looks right, press Publish. You pick a web address, and your site goes live at buildrok.com/s/your-business. Publishing to that free address costs nothing.

From there, two optional upgrades:

  • A paid plan unlocks the full set: the quote form built for your trade, the Lead Inbox, and running your site on your own web address. We handle the hosting and the security padlock.
  • Your own web address like yourbusiness.com. Buy one through Buildrok for around $10 to $20 a year, or connect one you already own for free.

Where Everything Lives After Publishing

Your dashboard is home base once your site is live:

  • Leads holds every quote request, message, and booking request from your site. See Managing Your Leads.
  • Bookings is where you set your availability if your template supports the booking calendar. See Taking Online Bookings.
  • Domains is where you buy your own web address, or connect one you already own.
  • Stats shows how your site is doing.
  • Account covers billing, invoices, and security. See Billing And Subscriptions.
Common questions

Answered before you ask.

Do I need an account to try Buildrok?

No. You can open any template and start changing it without signing up. You only need a free account to keep your work longer than 24 hours and to publish.

How long does my draft stick around?

Drafts you start without an account expire after 24 hours. Once you create a free account, your drafts are kept for 14 days while you work on them, and a published site stays up indefinitely.

Does publishing cost anything?

No. Publishing to your free buildrok.com/s address costs nothing. Paid plans add the quote form and Lead Inbox, and let your site run on your own web address.

Can I switch templates later?

You can build unlimited drafts across different templates before you commit, so the easiest way to compare designs is to start a draft on each and keep the one you like.
